Privacy Policy
Hey everyone, Sasi here from Hyderabad. I wrote this privacy policy myself so it's simple and straight-up. We don't collect or keep your personal stuff – that's the main point. If anything here doesn't make sense or you want to ask something, just shoot me an email at support@storypoly.cfd. I actually read every mail and try to reply.
Do we collect personal information?
No, we don't collect any personal information from you. You can come to Storypoly, paste Instagram Reel links to download, grab YouTube thumbnails, check channel subscribers or monetization status – all completely anonymous. No name, no email, no phone number, no signup, no account creation, no forms, no login. The site works 100% without asking for anything personal. The only time we might see personal info is if you decide to email us (for help, bug report, suggestion, or whatever). Even then, we don't save it anywhere or use it for ads/marketing. If you never email us, we never see anything personal from you. That's how simple it is.
Non-personal / technical information
When you visit or use the site, we automatically get some basic technical info – browser type, device (phone/laptop), operating system, approximate location from IP (country/city level only, not your exact address), internet provider, and connection details. This happens on every website. It helps us see if the site loads okay on Android or iPhone, fix bugs faster, and make downloads work better on different devices. We don't connect this info to you as a person, don't track you across the internet, and don't use it for anything except improving the site. No personal tracking, no selling data.
Cookies
We use almost no cookies – just very basic session cookies so the site doesn't forget what page you're on while you're here. No tracking cookies that follow you or save what you searched. If there are ads (to help pay for servers), ad partners might set their own cookies to show relevant ads. Those are non-personal only – they don't get your name, email or anything from us. We don't control what ad companies do with their cookies – check their privacy pages if you're worried. For Google ads (if any), you can opt out of their DART cookie here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Takes two seconds.
How we use information
Storypoly doesn't store or keep any data from what you do here. When you paste a Reel link or YouTube URL, we process it on our servers, give you the result, and nothing is saved. No history of your downloads, no log of your searches, no recording your links or activity. The only thing we look at is anonymous technical data (browser, device) to make the site better – like noticing if mobile users have slow loads or fixing errors on certain browsers. We don't share or sell any info to anyone. Your use stays private.
One important thing: we don't encourage anyone to break Instagram, YouTube or any platform's rules. The tools are for personal, fair use only – please follow the original platforms' terms.
Ads
To keep the site free, there might be some ads from partners. Those companies may use cookies to recognize your browser and show ads they think are relevant. All non-personal – they don't get your personal info from us. This policy only covers what we do; for what ad partners do with their cookies, see their own privacy policies. We try to keep ads light and not too annoying.
Google AdSense
If ads are from Google, their DART cookie helps show ads based on visits to this site and others, but only uses non-personal info. No name, email, address or personal tracking. If you don't want DART, opt out here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Easy step.
Changes to this policy
We might update this page now and then – new tools, legal stuff, or just to explain better. When we do, we'll update the date at the bottom and maybe add a small note on the homepage. If you're a regular user, check back once in a while. Using the site after changes means you accept the updated version.
Your acceptance
By using Storypoly (downloading Reels, saving thumbnails, checking channels, etc.), you're okay with this privacy policy. If you don't agree with any part, just don't use the site. No pressure. Thanks for reading – we wanted to be open and clear. Keep creating videos and Reels, bro 🔥
